Your committee; working for the members and the section.
Your committee is here to work for you, the section members, and make decisions on your behalf.
We have three or four committee meetings a year, usually at a cafe (IKEA) for a hearty breakfast before discussing the issues of the day.

We all have our specific roles but we act together in the best interests of the section. Anyone can be enrolled into the committee and there is at least one vacancy at the moment.

CHAIR LADY
Kate Sherras is our Chair.
Her role is to run meetings efficiently and provide guidance on the decisions we make when discussing section affairs.
SECRETARY.
Our Secretary is Bruce Phillips. The role is communicating with our members and with Allen House to ensure the runs are advertised and the section runs smoothly.
RUNS AND CALENDAR ORGANISER
Graham Bower arranges all the runs and events. He contacts members to lead runs throughout the year and puts together the calendar so it can be sent out to the members and to Allen House.
TREASURER
Mick Gather is the treasurer. His role is to manage the finances and bank account of the section, and produce a financial report for the AGM.
DEPUTY CHAIR
Gordon Milburn is Kate's deputy. He will step in if Kate is not in a position to perform her duties.
DEPUTY SECRETARY
This role is currently vacant.
DEPUTY RUNS AND EVENTS ORGANISER
Sue Mahl is Graham's deputy as well as organising several events like the Christmas Party and Section Dinner, in her own right.
DEPUTY TREASURER
Paul Sharman steps in for Mick when required.
